Teacher’s Classical Guitar with Small Body and Shortened Scale Length

This little bundle of energy we built for a guitar teacher in order to protect his shoulders. He wanted to have as small guitar for the classroom, with a still voluminous sound.

We have realised this desire based on a Classic Line I. The scale length was reduced to 60 cm, the body is with a length of 42.5 cm also considerably smaller. At the widest point it measures only 33 cm. To achieve the sound volume, we increased the width of the sides by 10 mm. The cutaway was designed very discreetly according to the body size.

Back and sides are Rosewood, the top is Spruce. The blue purflings are matching with the rosette.
