As a 6-String and as IQ version, the Classic Bass has already been built. Now a customer came up with another comfort request. Instead of a bevel there is a breavel to be marvelled in addition to the fanned frets.
Breavel
The bevel should be well known by now. A curvature is applied between the top and the sides, which relieves the playing arm, i.e. reduces the risk of tension in arm and neck.
The same can be done on the other side, i.e. between the back and the sides. This has the effect that the guitar fits more snugly to the chest. We thank our dear colleague Rosie Heydenrych from Turnstone Guitars for her inspiration on this name.
Sound
The overall sound is round, beautiful and extremely sonorous. The lows are precise and sound fantastically deep, clear and with the necessary radiance. The treble range sounds pleasantly smooth due to the fanned frets.
The Classic Bass has a comparatively quick response and a pleasantly long sustain. The sound reaches far and fills the room.
The frequency range of the Classic Bass is designed in such a way that every note is clearly audible even when played with other instruments, thus providing a good backbone for the entire ensemble.
