Classic Pro Multiscale

Overview

Comfort Soloist Guitar for sophisticated demands.

Where tradition and innovation are combined, the art of lutherie reaches new heights. At first glance, the Classic Pro Multiscale looks traditional, but a closer look reveals a detail that completely revolutionises the playing technique, the Multiscale Fingerboard.

Description

Starting from eighth fret, a fan-shaped arrangement is applied in both directions to the fingerboard. Although it takes time to visually getting used to it, the fretting hand adapts effortlessly to the new situation and rewards the guitarist with playful virtuosity and lightness. This is due to a much more relaxed hand gesture. The hand follows the frets in a wiper-like movement, so that extreme positions of the wrist are avoided.

In terms of material and design, the Classic Pro Multiscale corresponds to her little sister Classic Line Pro. AAA Indian Rosewood is the choice of wood for the body and AAA Spruce or Cedar for the top. The elaborate suspension of the top by means of single blocks is done with individual adjustment of the thickness of each single block to meet the requirements of the respective top. The arrangement of the bracing and the customising of the braces is done in the same way.

Spanish neck and shellac hand polish of the top also contribute to sound refinement. The nitro high gloss polish of the back and sides is a perfect protection for the body and radiates distinction and elegance.

The fanned frets influence the sound positively. The clear, loud and cathedral-like sound of the Classic Line Pro becomes even more powerful. Due to the extended length of the low strings the bass becomes more clear and solid. The shorter treble strings create sweet and gentle magical singing highs that harmonise powerfully with the mid range.
