I built this guitar as a one-off in 1996.
The finest materials were used, including very old, certified Brasilian Rosewood (dalbergia nigra).
The guitar was played with pleasure, but always treated with great care, so that its condition can be described as mint. Besides the first-class Brasilian Rosewood and the top made of AAA Sitka, the Freewheel tuning machines from the workshop of Knut Welsch must be mentioned. This masterpiece has lost none of its precision even after almost 30 years.
The instrument can be played as smooth as silk and its sound is simply a dream. The sound is very round and balanced. Full and carrying in the bass, silky and bright sparkling in the trebles. With a nut width of 46.5 mm and an accommodating neck profile, it is the Eldorado for fingerpickers in terms of playing technique and tone.
