Anniversary guitar No. 2000 – Sold

Overview

Save 2,000 € and do some good with this luxury Parlour guitar. Our two thousandth guitar shines with all the features of an S-Custom. Ebony back and sides are something very exceptional.
The interaction of AAA Sitka spruce top with Ebony back and sides the guitar produces a warm, pure tone, rich of overtones, which responds very fast with an almost endless sustain. As a special highlight we have embedded the face of an Orang Utan into the fingerboard.

Description

Guitar Shaped Luxury Limousine

Anyone who thinks they have an Ambition Parlour before them is mistaken. Strictly speaking, this steel string guitar is an S-Custom in the shape of a Parlour. Choice and quality of woods, finish, fretboard inlay and - most importantly - the construction inside, all this is built to the high standards of State-of-the-Art models.

Amazing what you can get out of a small parlour body. The bass sounds as full and balanced as a big one. The response is excellent and due to the low string action and neck shaping it plays almost by itself, a joy for fingerpickers and other fretboard artists. The neck-body transition at 12th fret supports the natural dynamics between bridge position and soundboard and thus ensures a genuine, round, free tone. Combined with Ebony the tone becomes warm and pure, rich in overtones with an almost endless sustain.

The high-gloss finish, discreet purfling and the Orang Utan on the 11th to 13th fret make it a real eye-catcher. The high-quality Hiscox case is just right for this valuable specimen and protects it excellently from shocks and temperature instability.

The Two Thousandth Guitar

We are so happy about the two thousandth guitar that we want to share our joy with others. For this reason we will not only donate 1,000 € of the proceeds of this parlour to Fans for Nature.  we also sell our special model at 1,000 € below value. So the celebration of our two thousandth guitar is worth two thousand euros to us.

Why we do this? Read about the connection between orangutans, rainforest and guitar building.
