The rosette serves more than just a decorative purpose. Together with its counterpart on the inside of the top, the sound hole reinforcement patch, it provides the necessary rigidity of the soundhole and optimises the transport of the sound waves to the audience.
A large selection of rosettes is available. Of course, individual designs are possible.
