The "missing link" between "regular" guitar and bass, for all classical guitarists who like it a bit more bassy or as an asset to the guitar ensemble.
Based on Classic Line I, the scale length of this baritone guitar was extended to 66.5 cm, the body was made a little deeper and the bracing adapted to the requirements. The string set corresponds to the typical baritone tuning with BEADGF#B.
As premium class model, the Classic Line I Baritone has inherited from its little sister the elaborate suspension of the top by means of tentallones and the Spanish low-profile and ergonomically shaped neck. The body is also made of Rosewood. This supports the requirements of a baritone guitar particularly well, as it emphasises the fullness and richness of the tone with its pronounced low-mid range. The top made of Sitka spruce goes very well with this.
The rosette made of spalted beech blends beautifully into the overall picture. The matching headstock is equipped with Schertler single tuners in matt silver, which perfectly keep the increased string tension in control.
Full sounding and voluminous, this baritone guitar is exactly as it should be. However, the high frequencies are by no means suppressed by their bassy brothers. The midrange is warm and full and can be seen and heard. All in all, the result is a well-balanced sound with a frequency spectrum that is shifted downwards with a high degree of assertiveness and selectivity.
