This left-handed steel string guitar Ambition Fingerstyle model was built for a customer with a height of 1.60 m. Accordingly, we built the size of the body slightly smaller and set the scale length to 63 cm.
The exciting play of colors of the Spalted Mango is caused by a fungus which resides in the timber until it is too dry to survive.
The customer had fallen in love with the silvery sound of Mango wood, but actually it appeared to "wild eyed". For the back we have therefore chosen a set of wood, in which the fungus has raged not quite so badly.
The rosette of Rosewood we have chosen to be very simple to contrast with the wood. Accordingly the bindings are of the same wood and the buttons of the machine heads of Ebony.
