Today we offer a second hand Lakewood M-38 Custom at a very good price. The guitar is from 2007. The age has only made it more beautiful, it radiates a wonderful honey-yellow shine. The rosette as well as the logo in the head are made of Abalone and complement the radiant appearance of this Lakewood. The style is harmoniously complemented by the mother-of-pearl dots in the bridge pins.
Full solid Cherry was used for back and sides of this steelstring guitar. The top is made of AAA European Spruce. It features a D-shaped beautifully flamed Maple neck, which was kept matte in contrast to the guitar's high-gloss finish. The neck-body transition is at 14th fret. The head is also made of Cherry and is equipped with Schaller tuners.
Condition
Due to the fact that the guitar was played by a skilled musician it has developed it's sound potential to the fullest. It is in optically good condition with the usual small traces of use. It has been completely checked, overhauled and adjusted (frets dressed, fingerboard polished, bridge height checked, searched for cracks and found none, varnish cleaned). In the course of this work, it was given a new set of Elixir Nanoweb 80/20.
Traveling
The Lakewood M-38 Custom is virtually rosewood-free, making it ideal for travel outside of Europe. Provided you replace the tuner buttons, all CITES Regulations are met.
