PT 69 Travel – All Mahogany

Balanced, precise and with a quick response, this travel guitar offers the sound and comfort that you can expect from a guitar made by STOLL, even on the road. With the neck transition at 12th fret, it is ideal for guitarists who prefer a rich low-mid and bass range. By using Mahogany not only for the sides but also for the top, the tone is influenced even more towards authentic blues.

Description

Following the tradition of guitarists and songwriters who still really went on the road with their guitars, it is also ideally suited for traditional folk and picking sounds of the 30s and 40s, but masters other genres just as well. Despite its size, it manages to produce an astonishing volume.

Traveling guitars have always been one of the great challenges of a guitar maker. The steel-string guitar presented here is based on our large PT 69 model, which we have scaled down a little.

The scale length is now 58.8 cm instead of 65 cm. In order to keep the sound volume to a maximum, we have dispensed with a cutaway and gave the body a bit more depth.

Thanks to clever bracing and the use of Mahogany for the body and top, this travel guitar comes with surprising volume.
