Steel string guitar Ambition with back and sides of Spalted Mango (Mangifera indica). Spalted Mango impresses by its visual appearance. The irregular light gray and brown wood is crisscrossed with dark brown and orange, more or less wild, figures. This striking coloration is caused by a fungus, which operates in the timber until its work is stopped by the drying process.
Spalted Mango shines with a pleasantly open timbre. It responds to even the lightest touch with a very precise, clean and airy tone. Furthermore it impresses with bright, crisp trebles, accompanied by finest overtones. Mids and bass support the dazzling appearance reliable and unobtrusive. In addition to all this the guitar is incredibly loud.
This steel string guitar is part of a series of four identical Ambitions with different woods for back and sides such as Indian Walnut, Indian Rosewood and Indian Silver Oak.
